Join 3rd grade students as they navigate the natural wonders of Inspiring Kids Preserve. Students visit the preserve to gain a connection with the local landscape and participate in hands-on lessons in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
We are looking forward to facilitating exciting and memorable experiences for students! Students explore the diverse habitats present at Inspiring Kids Preserve and learn about local conservation efforts and environmental restoration. The lessons are designed to supplement classroom learning and are aligned with Next Generation Science Standards. Check out this story from the 2019 field experience!
Be a part of our dedicated team of community volunteers! Volunteering with this program involves attending this classroom/field training and we ask that our volunteers sign up for at least one field experience. This training will serve as an introduction to the program, a tour of the field experience site, and practice with the activities. On field experiences, volunteers facilitate short ecology lessons and encourage curiosity to a small groups of students.
