Bayshore Preserve, 3800 E State Route 3 Shelton, WA 98584
Join Capitol Land Trust for a tour of the restoration work at Bayshore Preserve! Bayshore Preserve was conserved in 2014 by Capitol Land Trust and partners. This 74-acre preserve used to be a golf course and has undergone extensive changes to the landscape in an effort to restore the land to a natural state and increase habitat for fish and wildlife. Come to see the changes and learn how the restoration has progressed. The Center for Natural Lands Management will share details about their work on the Preserve with the prairie habitat. Also, the next phase for Bayshore Preserve is public access, and we will share concepts for community access and ask for your thoughts on the current plan.
