Join Capitol Land Trust’s Outreach & Education Coordinator Mary Birchem and local bird photographer Mike Melton for a virtual presentation that explores the diversity of birds that call our region home. As we watch, listen, and learn about the birds, we will also learn about the habitats they need to thrive from marine shorelines and estuaries, to wetlands, rivers, and forests that surround them. Tips will be given about where you can see these birds. This will be followed by time for questions hosted by Mike and Mary.
The Zoom format will be set up so that when you join the meeting your audio and video will be turned off. During the Q&A portion, you will have the option to turn on your video if you feel comfortable doing so. You will be able to type questions into the Zoom platform.
