April 5
Conservation Kids is an outdoor learning experience for third grade students. Students spend the day participating in four conservation-focused activities facilitated by volunteer instructors from Puget Sound Estuarium, Black Hills Audubon Society, and Capitol Land Trust. Join them on their journey as they navigate the natural wonders of Inspiring Kids Preserve, which conserves forest, wetlands, shorelines, and estuaries.
Volunteering with this program involves attending a virtual/field training. We ask that our volunteers sign up to lead, assist, or rove with a group for at least one field trip day. This training will serve as an introduction to the program and program partners, a tour of Inspiring Kids Preserve, followed by organization-specific training that will last a varying amount of time.
