Chapman Cove Preserve

Property Overview:
- Chapman Cove is a key estuary in CLT’s Oakland Bay conservation strategy that builds on the already conserved Malaney, Johns, Cranberry and Deer creek estuaries. This watershed is a high priority for salmon recovery.
- 30 acres including 23 acres of fresh and saltwater wetlands and seven acres of upland habitat.
- 5,330 feet of marine shoreline, including the estuary of Uncle John Creek and important estuarine habitat near the mouth of Campbell Creek.
- Habitat for fall chum, coho, winter steelhead, and coastal cutthroat trout, migratory waterfowl, songbirds, shorebirds, shellfish, and terrestrial and marine mammals.
