Thursday, July 31
Join Capitol Land Trust for a peaceful evening outdoors at Inspiring Kids Preserve. We’ll begin with a gentle plant identification walk, then shift into quiet, reflective time in nature. You’re invited to journal, read, observe, or simply relax and enjoy the beauty of the preserve.
This event offers a rare opportunity to visit Inspiring Kids Preserve, a 113-acre property conserved by Capitol Land Trust on the eastern shore of Henderson Inlet. While not yet open to the public, the preserve features a mix of Puget Sound shoreline, saltmarsh, freshwater wetlands, and forest—and serves as a hub for outdoor education and habitat restoration.
