June 6
Near the Evergreen State College, Harper Conservation Easement is a 63-acre parcel that protects forests and wetlands around Green Cove Creek.
Join us to help “clean up” the the forest. We will be removing plant protectors, trash, and invasive plant species from an area where volunteers planted native trees back in 2010. There will be plenty of time for exploring the forest as we help the land look good and feel good.
Depending on the number of hands, we may be able to finish all the tasks on the property. This is a great opportunity to make a beneficial difference and feel the impact of your actions. Near the intersection of Kaiser Rd and Evergreen Parkway, this event could be attended by bus, car, or bike (we love non-motorized transport). RSVP below.
