Hilburn Preserve is an awesome place. This public-access preserve on Goldsborough Creek is well used by people walking on their lunch break, taking their dog for a stroll, or going swimming (at their own risk) in the creek in the summer. Right next to the senior center, it is a great place for people to get outside and see a creek restored for salmon habitat.
In this event, we will be removing some trash and invasive plants from sections of the preserve. There are areas where we can make a difference by removing Scot’s broom and cutting back lone blackberries (we are avoiding the thickets for bird nesting season). Join us for a fun and productive day among friends!
