Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service is a federal holiday and national day of service – a “day on, not a day off.” This special day recognizes Dr. King’s legacy through community service. Every year, Americans of every age and background celebrate Dr. King through service projects that strengthen communities, empower individuals, bridge barriers, and create solutions. Learn more about Dr. King here.
This year we will be preparing Randall Preserve for public access. Tasks include setting up the parking area with wood logs, mulching an existing trail, preparing an area for a viewing platform, and invasive removal!
