Join us as we work on removing invasive species from around Malaney Creek, a salmon-bearing creek in Oakland Bay. Oakland Bay Historical Park is an 85 acre park open that is to the public. Conserved for the purpose of salmon habitat, it provides habitat for salmon as well as many other species.

Tools, gloves, light snacks and warm drinks are provided. The area may be muddy, so please bring rubber boots if you have them. We will be working outdoors rain or shine so please dress in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. It will be a short downhill walk from the parking lot to the project site. Bathrooms are available in the upper parking lot.
