Saturday, May 19
This is a Stewardship / Family Hike Adventure for Kids accompanied by parents or adult guardians in partnership with the Olympia Mountaineers. Come out and explore the diverse plant and wildlife the Preserve has to offer! We will spend about 45-60 minutes removing invasive plants using special tools. We will then take a break and drinks and snacks will be served. As a special treat, we will be led on an “Edible” hike through the Preserve. We will see beaver dams up close, wetland ponds and an upland forest. We will have a fun time socializing, learning, and enjoying the beautiful Preserve!
