February 10
When we last went to Stillman Creek Riparian Preserve in November, volunteers had an excellent time removing plant protectors from native trees and shrubs. In this event, we will be continuing our work to remove plant protectors from the now 7-year old plantings. This is a breathtaking preserve that surrounds Stillman Creek right before its confluence with the Chehalis River. This is an excellent opportunity to visit our newly conserved property in its dormant winter state.
This preserve is about 45 minutes south of Olympia, and we encourage groups to come so they can carpool. In addition to going to a Capitol Land Trust preserve, you can also see a new part of rural Washington.
