Bring your friends, family, and colleagues together (virtually) at Capitol Land Trust’s Conservation Breakfast!
The vital funds raised at the Conservation Breakfast will go directly to conserving, restoring, and stewarding the most strategically important lands in our region to improve wildlife habitat and the quality of life in our community.
By becoming a Virtual Table Captain for Capitol Land Trust, you can bring your friends, family, and colleagues together to support local land conservation! There is no cost to attend the event for you or your guests.

Program Description: Connecting People, Conserving Land – Explore locally conserved lands with Capitol Land Trust during our biggest fundraising event of 2021! We’ll virtually visit 21 properties within the South Puget Sound and Chehalis Basin watersheds, while meeting a variety of community members.
A donation request will be made during the program, there is no minimum donation amount — give what you can to support ongoing work to expand networks of conserved land in the South Puget Sound and Chehalis Basin watersheds.

- YOU are our best advocate! Help us champion local land conservation efforts.
- There is no cost to attend the event for you or your guests.

- If so, we would love to hear from you! Contact Sierra Jacob, Membership Engagement Manager, [email protected], to strategize before reaching out.
- Once you are registered as a Table Captain, you’ll receive a confirmation email from Sierra Jacob.
- Starting in February 2021 we will send regular Table Captain updates with all the materials you need to invite your guests, remind, and thank them. You may tailor and use these materials, or you may create your own.
- Virtual Table Captains commit to having at least 10 guests RSVP for the virtual event. To help ensure 10 people RSVP, you typically would need to invite 20-25 people.
- Instead of submitting a roster, we ask that you invite your guests to RSVP on our website.
- There will be a place where your guests select your name and identify you as their Table Captain.
- Before the event, we will send you a list of individuals who have registered to your virtual table. This way we can send out important event information and you can still send personalized communications to your guests.
- Expand your circle of guests this year! Not in town to attend a physical event really early in the morning? No problem! Invite anyone who is passionate about expanding networks of conserved land in the South Puget Sound and Chehalis Basin watersheds.
- Invite your friends, neighbors, colleagues, outdoor enthusiasts, or professionals who benefit from increased quality of life in Washington State through conserving lands and waters. Don’t forget about the young professionals and students in your life!
- Encourage your guests to plan to make a gift at the event.
- To protect the health and ensure the safety of our community, the main difference is that CLT’s Conservation Breakfast will be held online in 2021. This will be CLT’s biggest and only fundraising event of 2021.
- We hope we can host an in-person Conservation Breakfast next year. In the meantime, a virtual event helps us continue to broaden our reach, gather as a community, and raise essential funds.
