Sunday, May 31
Grab a friend and join Capitol Land Trust and South Sound Bird Alliance on a bird outing to Inspiring Kids Preserve! We will look for spring migrants and year-round residents while exploring about two miles of trails at a relaxed pace.
This 113-acre preserve along Henderson Inlet protects a rich mix of habitats—from forests to salt marsh and freshwater wetlands—along with restoration areas where native plants are being re-established to improve habitat for birds and other wildlife.
This is a free, beginner and family-friendly event. No parking pass is needed.
Space is limited to 30 participants due to limited parking availability. Please carpool if you’re able.
