Canoe on Black RiverSeptember 10, 2016
Pack a picnic and prepare to canoe down the Black River in south Thurston County. Join Center for Natural Lands Management and Capitol Land Trust on the river to see properties conserved and managed by both organizations. Stop at the Black River-Mima Prairie Glacial Heritage Preserve for a short walking tour of the prairie and take a short lunch break. Then travel down the river to see CLT’s DeFelice Preserve, 11 acres conserved in 1997.
This event is bring your own kayak or canoe.
