Ramos-Black River Preserve

Property Overview:
- This 37 acre preserve protects important Black River mainstem, floodplain and wetland habitat.
- Provides habitat for salmon, steelhead, cutthroat trout, amphibians and many bird and waterfowl species.
- This preserve is adjacent to the privately owned, forever-protected Bergquist easement. Together, they conserve over 1 mile of the Black River. It is also adjacent to the future Gate-to-Belmore Trail, a former railway corridor owned by Thurston County Parks Department.
