July 6
Want to spend a morning in a beautiful place, getting exercise with nature-loving friends? Join us at Darlin Creek Preserve on July 6 for a yellow archangel eradication party! Native to Europe, it was introduced as a garden ornamental and groundcover and unfortunately it takes over rapidly.
Darlin Creek Preserve is a 312-acre preserve near Delphi Valley that contains a mix of forest types, wetland systems, and a variety of wildlife. The Preserve contains more than 2 miles of fish-bearing tributaries to the Black River: Darlin, Dempsey, and Pants Creeks. Our morning will include taking a break to walk the trails and enjoy the preserve together.
