Friday, May 8
Join us at Inspiring Kids Preserve for a morning of hands-on conservation as we work together to remove Scotch broom, an invasive plant that takes over native habitat. We will supply the tools and guidance you need to safely and effectively help care for this special place.
Inspiring Kids Preserve is a 113-acre preserve on Henderson Inlet that features a rich mix of forests, wetlands, and a variety of wildlife. Removing the Scotch broom from the restoration areas will assist these spaces for their next phase of care. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy active outdoor work and want to support ongoing habitat restoration efforts.
