Saturday, May 9
Join us for Second Saturdays at Bayshore Preserve as we explore the remarkable Garry oaks that grow across the preserve.
This guided outing introduces participants to the Garry oak ecosystem and the role these iconic trees play in the landscape. Along the way, local photographer Leslie Coulter will share tips for capturing nature photographs while we walk among the magnificent oaks of Bayshore.
Whether you’re interested in learning about native oaks, improving your nature photography, or simply enjoying time outdoors, this is a great way to learn something new while spending time with community. No photography experience is needed—beginners are welcome.
