Saturday, June 13
Join us for Second Saturdays at Bayshore Preserve as we explore the prairie plants and pollinators that call this place home.
This guided outing introduces participants to the unique prairie habitat at Bayshore Preserve and the many pollinators that depend on it. Along the way, you’ll hear from several knowledgeable guides, including ecologist Dave Peter, longtime volunteer and prairie steward Tom Terry, and pollinator expert Audrey Mechtenberg, who will share insights about native bees and bring samples for observation.
Whether you’re curious about prairie plants, interested in pollinators, or simply looking for a chance to learn outdoors, this is a great way to discover more about the natural world while spending time with community.
