Saturday, August 8
Join us for Second Saturdays at Bayshore Preserve for a slower-paced experience focused on observation, reflection, and creativity.
This guided outing begins with a gentle walk through the preserve, taking time to notice the sights and sounds of the landscape. Licia Sahagun from Firecraft Northwest will join us to help guide the experience as we slow down and connect with the natural world around us. After the walk, we’ll spend time nature journaling—an opportunity to observe the environment more closely through writing, sketching, or other creative expression.
Whether you enjoy drawing, writing, or simply taking time to notice the details of the natural world, this is a great way to connect with nature and community. No art or writing experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to slow down and observe.
