Saturday, July 11
Join us for Second Saturdays at Bayshore Preserve as we explore the marine landscape and shoreline habitats of Oakland Bay.
This guided outing focuses on the salt marsh and coastal ecosystems that shape Bayshore Preserve. Along the way, we’ll look at the restoration work that has taken place at the preserve and head down toward Oakland Bay during low tide to observe the plants, animals, and habitats revealed when the water recedes.
Whether you’re curious about coastal ecology or simply interested in experiencing the shoreline in a new way, this is a great opportunity to learn more about the natural systems that make this place unique while spending time outdoors with community.
