March 3
Totaling 133 acres at the northern terminus of Oakland Bay, Twin Rivers Ranch Preserve is a spectacular place with salt marshes, beaver activity, working lands, and an interesting human history. This property is a huge success for conservation. With two salmon-bearing creeks, and 2/3 mile of undeveloped estuarine habitat, it is a haven for many kinds of wildlife. Join us here to help remove invasive species from the property and to appreciate the natural beauty of the two rivers and the bay.
In this event, we will be going after Scot’s broom and Himalayan blackberry in strategic areas of the preserve.
